すみれ画廊は、イタリアMariani Affreschi社のフレスコ画を扱う画廊として2006年に創業いたしました。創業時より国内作家の紹介も積極的に行ってきました。
現在は日本の伝統を踏襲しながらもそれに縛られず、新しい日本文化を創造する若手作家を中心に国内のみならず世界へ向けて発信しています。
Gallery Sumire was founded in 2006 as a gallery handling fresco paintings by Mariani Affreschi of Italy.
Gallery Sumire represents Japanese artists who embody the heart of Japanese tradition and history. The artists express their inner spirituality with respects to their origins inspiring new dimensions in their art works and Japanese art history.
